On Feb. 15th the students and staff celebrated the re-opening of our gym and renovations that were done over the past few months. The celebration started with the presentation of an incredible cake created by Nicole from Nicole Sweet Temptations which had taken home 1st prize for sculpture and 1st prize people choice at last weekend’s “High on Ice” festival. The cake was donated by Amber Blair and Dave Smith for all students to enjoy in the learning commons following the celebration.

The celebration in the gym also included Mme Elena’s class sharing a couple songs in a school sing along. We then had a 15 minute school wide Zumba session and concluded with our annual student –  teacher basketball game. Fun was had by all and we are so excited to be once again using this great space.
