We are so excited to welcome back our entire Central Community this week. There was a lot of energy in the building yesterday as we opened the doors and got a look at all our new spaces at Central. We are planning an open house later this month which will also serve as the grand opening for these new spaces. We will keep you posted once the date is confirmed. Today was a great first day as we had our assembly this morning and an activity this afternoon that looked at “Acceptance”. We also started our trial period today having our first “reverse lunch” day. This involves our students going outside first at 12:05pm to play and then starting their lunches when they come in at 12:25pm. As with any trial period there will be some glitches to work out, but our hopes are that students will get to eat more and not rush to get outside. Please talk to your child about the activities we are doing this week and we appreciate any feedback that you may have. We look forward to another great school year ahead.
