I just wanted to send out reminders that the hot lunch menus for November will close next week.  If you would like to order something for your child please do not forget.

As you may have been aware, at the October PAC meeting we shared our 2018-19 Ecole Central Elementary School Framework. This is a document that is continually evolving and is meant to be shared and created as a school community,

A final reminder that Ecole Central Elementary was adopted this year by Coles Bookstore in the “Adopt a school Indigo program”. We ask that you keep putting the word out as we head into the final weekend.  

On Friday September 28th 2018 we honoured Orange Shirt Day. It is a day where we payed tribute to all those who have been affected by the wrongs of the residential school system and honour the survivors. 

This year we have decided to run monthly ADST Values Sessions.  These sessions will run for about an hour and include multi age groups. Each month groups will rotate to work on an activity that ties into one of our school values.

In the next couple of days we will start meeting with intermediate students regarding casting for the main roles in this years musical “Peter Pan Jr”.  Those who express interest will be able to audition for these main roles on Tuesday Oct.

We will be having our annual Terry Fox Run at 2pm on Thursday Sept. 20th 2018. We had an assembly to introduce the event on Sept 17th and currently we are having a penny drive leading up to the run on Sept.

Cross-country running is a short season that will involve three races. Listed below are the races and details that are involved with each race. We also would welcome any volunteers that are able to make it to help at any of the races.

As we head into the summer we wanted to thank everyone for helping to make this another fantastic year at Central. We hope you all have a safe and relaxing summer.
Just a reminder that Ecole Central will re-open for the 2018/19 year on Tuesday September 4th 2018 for Grade 1-6 students and they will be dismissed on the first day at 10:50am.Those returning to Central will start by coming to the gym when the bell goes in the morning.
