We are so excited to welcome back our entire Central Community this week. There was a lot of energy in the building yesterday as we opened the doors and got a look at all our new spaces at Central.

Just a reminder that the amended calendar previously sent out has the last day of school for students on June 23rd 2016. As per usual, the last day will include classroom instruction until 10:50am and then our final graduation ceremony from 10:50 –

Cookie Dough will arrive on Monday April 11th 2016. This will be sorted and sent to classrooms. Please be aware that it is frozen and will need to be picked up right away after school. Small orders could go home with students but large orders will need to be picked up.

Here are some updated pictures of the renovations going on at our school for the Common Learning Space. The new canteen is being framed and more walls have been removed. Plans for the new library layout are now beginning.

What a terrific ARTS week full of energy and excitement. On Wednesday we had our Fun Day as students were sent out to participate in an activity of their choice as a community builder. Judging by the smiles upon their return,

ARTS Week has kicked off at Central and there are lots of exciting things going on. On Tuesday we kicked it off with the “Shapes Tell A Lot Activity” which we have posted throughout the school.

Congratulations to the Grade 6 girls basketball team and their tournament victory on Friday March 4th 2016. The girls went undefeated and brought home the trophy for the second straight year (another blue and white championship).
